Entercom wins the Community Service Award!
John Burkavage, Vice President and Market Manager of Entercom Pocono Northeast receives The Annual Community Service Award from Peg Ruddy, Executive Director of The Women's Resource Center on June 20th at the Country Club of Scranton at the organizations annual luncheon. Burkavage produced a radio public service ad with the Production services Department at Entercom titled, "Why Doesn't
She Just Leave". The Ad won best Public Service Announcement in a statewide competition among the Pennsylvania Association if Broadcasters for 2006.
The Women's Resource Center serves victims and survivors of Domestic Violence and sexual Assault in Lackawanna and Susquehanna Counties.
