Thanks for everyone's suggestions this weekend! Ethan and I headed to Lewisburg for a jam-packed Saturday with my sis-in-law and her fiance. We drove past the Woolly Worm Festival; it's Lewisburg's version of Ground Hog's Day. The fury brown & black prognasticator predicted we will have a mild winter this year. We'll see, my fuzzy friend!
I was excited to go to Shade Mountain Winery's Fall Festival...fun wine, live music, and grape stomping!! I was looking forward to trying the stomping, until I looked in the barrel. Yuk. A bunch of purple-stained feet squishing toe jam...no thank you. We stuck to the wine bottles and took in the beautiful vinyard.
